Sports

  The physical competitions are which are pursued to achieve the objectives and the challenges they bring.   They are an integral part of all cultures, past and present. However, every cultural tradition has its unique interpretation of sport.   The most effective descriptions are the ones which define the relation between sports and games, play and competitions.   "Play," wrote the German theorist Carl Diem, "is purposeless activity, for its own sake, the opposite of work." Human beings are obligated to work for a reason and engage in play because they desire to.   Play is autotelic, that is, it is a goal-driven activity.   It's voluntary and not coerced.   Children who aren't able to comply with the demands of their teachers or parents to play the soccer game (soccer) are not actually involved in the sport.   Also, professional athletes should not be when their sole motive is to earn a salary.   In real life in the real world motivations can be multi-facet
